Amore Mio Pizza & Inasal in Kabankalan City: Italian Pizza cooked in a wood oven!

We’ve found what is is arguably the BEST pizza on Negros Island!

We drove down south to Amore Mio Pizza & Inasal in Kabankalan to meet Enea, an Italian who, along with his wife – make really good Italian, brick oven pizza.

🗺️Amore Mio Pizza and Inasal is located at Seron Street, Corner Rizal Street, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental Philippines.

They advertise their hours as 12 noon to 9pm, Monday to Saturday, but be aware they don’t always stick to this schedule.

We tried to visit three times and found them unexpectedly closed each time!
However, their pizza is so good, we gave them a fourth try and finally got there a few minutes after they had opened.

When you dine at Amore Mio Pizza and Inasal, Don’t miss the amazing sight of Enea Expertly tossing and spinning the pizza to stretch it out! It is a fantastic sight!

Enea uses a real wood fired oven. It can get pretty hot! In fact the restaurant itself is pretty hot inside – and when combined with the heat index at noon, it is a SAUNA!

But the pizza and the food is definitely worth it!

We got two tasty pies, The Amore pizza and the Truffle cream pizza!

The truffle cream pizza – is divine! Tasty and creamy, highly recommended!

This is the Amore pizza – its a woodfire oven pizza with pepperoni, hotdogs and French fries?

It’s a weird combination that works! After all, we do have Shawarma with french fries – why not pizza and french fries!

Instead of Hot sauce, Amore Mio Pizza and Inasal makes this chili oil that you can pour on your pizza, Take note that travelers should not overdo this as you might end up running to the toilet.
