Wine and dine at Quedan – Bacolod City’s newest Spanish Wine bar where one can sit back, relax and enjoy a glass of good wine (or a bottle or two) with friends.

Quedan is a colonial Spanish term for a sugar warehouse. It also means a meeting of people at a place. It is a very good name and also describes Quedan to a tee – a place to hang out with your buddies.
There’s a lot of wines and cocktails to try in Quedan as well as different kinds of Spanish appetizers such as pintxos and tapas and if you’re looking to try Spanish food, there’s a lot of Spanish dishes to experience.
We went to Quedan for dinner and we had a great time!

Quedan has Paella Mixta (seafood paella) and Paella Negra (squid Ink Paella). We chose the Paella Mixta and found it to be okay – We are paella lovers and Quedan’s Paella was enjoyable combined with all their other Spanish dishes.

Quedan’s Lechon Fusion is somewhat similar to Lechon Kawali – a Filipino comfort food. It is served with a spicy dipping sauce that enhances the crisp, crackling skin. Tasty!!
The dish that we really liked at Quedan was their excellent Pescado Picante. It is a fish dish made with tangigue and seasoned with plenty of chili and garlic. It sounds like a simple dish but the variety of flavors in this dish definitely makes it a winner in our book.

Most of the dishes are meant to be enjoyed with wine so take our advice and try one of Quedan’s extensive collections of Spanish wine. Wine enhances the taste of food so when you dine at Quedan, bring your friends take it slow, enjoy every spoonful and glass of wine.
