Juliana’s Cafe & Resto is a restaurant in Bacolod that opened during the Christmas rush of 2016. In the hustle and bustle of the Christmas rush, Juliana’s opening went largely unnoticed by the public except for us – the ever vigilant Bacolod Food Hunters who are always on the look-out for new and exciting restaurants!
Juliana’s is located at lot #3, 7th St. Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, right behind VSB building and Dunkin’ Donuts Lacson. There is adequate parking for customers with cars.

Juliana’s Cafe & Resto has a extensive list of popular Filipino dishes on their menu. We ordered a few of their dishes to try out what they had to offer. We were quite pleased with the huge servings.

What sets Juliana’s apart is that it has DUCK as one of its house specialties! We tried ordering their duck ( half a whole duck) and we were surprised at how quickly it was served and how good it tasted. The duck was served on a sizzling plate with a sweetish sauce and assorted veggies on the side. Quite good, highly recommended to duck lovers or for people willing to try duck. Juliana’s sizzling duck can serve two people comfortably.

My friend who came with me is a huge fan of beef salpicao. He was very pleased with Juliana’s beef salpicao. Generous chunks of tender beef and slivers of roasted garlic in a semi-sweet and savory sauce will delight the diner.

For rice lovers try Juliana’s Morisqueta rice. Traditional Filipino fried rice filled with fragrant chinese sausages, fried garlic and other assorted spices. This platter is good for three people. Perfect for sharing! This fried rice dish is so hearty it is a meal in itself.

Ox tongue or lengua is a delicious treat that everybody loves. Juliana’s has lengua as well as a delicious boneless chicken steak with the skin still on. The lengua came with extra gravy and the boneless chicken steam was nice and tender – served sizzling hot!

Try out Juliana’s today. The food is great and the ambiance and atmosphere is festive and elegant. The location is convenient too! Come early for lunch or linger for cocktails in the evenings. Juliana’s Cafe and Resto is a great place to visit. Some items maybe a bit too pricey but you get really good food for the price.
The Bacolod Food Hunters did not receive any freebies or items for this review. We paid for everything out of our own pocket.
