Parrilla Negrense Kitchen: Must-Try Filipino Dishes in Bacolod City

Looking for delicious Filipino food in Bacolod City? Parrilla Negrense Kitchen offers classic Filipino favorites along with creative dishes that put a fresh spin on familiar flavors.

This new restaurant has just recently opened! Parilla Negrense Kitchen is located on 23rd street corner Lacson street, Bacolod City! We went to the very first opening day and we tried a lot of items on their menu!

Parilla Negrense Kitchen – 23rd Lacson Street, Across from Citi Hardware where the old Skycable building used to be!

The inside of Parilla Negrense Kitchen is simple with clean lines and simple designs. Plenty of windows let in natural light. There’s a main dining area, a cafe area and several function rooms.

Here’s a few of the stuff that we ordered from Parilla Negrense Grill. Your favorite Filipino dishes are here with some items having a tweak to make it have a new modern taste!

Crispy Pata and Morisqueta rice. A tasty popular dish.

The chef of Parilla Negrense Kitchen also runs Manami Resort’s restaurant. We met him as he was going around the tables and talking to the customers and asking for their comments and suggestions.

Gabi leaves (laing) with danggit (dried fish)

One of the new and modernized dishes was this interesting take on Humba – a braised pork dish very popular in the Visayas region.

Humba!
There were plenty of ice cold drinks too such as this Calamansi cooler!
Beef lumpia
Manumbok – grilled fish served on a sizzling platw
Pork Salad – grilled pork on a bed of salad made of onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and mangoes with a sweet-sourish vinegarette
Grilled scallops with butter and mozarella cheese.
Fish Kinilaw
Lechon Baka
Pork Lechon
Tinapa Fried Rice – We love the smoky fish flavor and the bits of salted egg make this fried rice dish really tasty!

A highly recommended vegetarian friendly appetizer – Crispy Talong! Comes with hot honey (spicy). Very addictive and everyone’s favorite!

Our favorite – The crispy shrimp rolls – comes stuffed with aligue butter which was a very nice surprise! Super tasty and highly recommended
