Are you looking for a great place to have lunch? Edibowl is a popular lunch spot in Bacolod City. They are known for their excellent wraps, kebabs, giant rice bowls, and on certain days, they even serve Chicken Biryani!

The interior of Edibowl is beautiful. The walls are just bare concrete but they’re full of beautiful paintings and art! This showcases a rising trend in Bacolod, where owners feature local art or artists exhibit their creations within cafes. It’s a win-win situation: the cafe is beautified, while the artists gain exposure and potential sales opportunities.
We can’t help but gush over the art, especially when we discovered two pieces created by one of our favorite artists, Rodney Martinez. The bright, vibrant colors really stood out in the room.
Our favorite painting in Edibowl by Rodney Martinez portrays a Filipina woman adorned with a yellow Gumamela flower in her hair. The colors in this piece simply burst with vibrancy, truly captivating the viewer’s attention.
We were surprised to find vegetable samosas on Edibowl’s appetizer menu. We love samosas so we immediately ordered them! Samosas are a popular street food from India and the Middle East. They are made by deep-frying a dough filled with potatoes, spices, and vegetables. We decided to try Edibowl’s samosas and they didn’t disappoint. The taste, including the tamarind sauce, was perfect!
One of the best sellers at Edibowl is their chicken kebab bowl. Since we love chicken kebabs we decided to get their chicken kebab platter! The chicken kebab platter has no rice. Instead it comes with four skewers of chicken kebabs, grilled peppers, pita bread, parsley with pickled onions and a dish of hummus and some garlic sauce. It’s good for sharing!
Hummus is a dip made of olive oil and chickpeas. It is a popular middle eastern dish
In the chicken kebab platter, you also receive grilled peppers as a side. We understand that not everyone may enjoy peppers, so here’s a tip: cut them open and scoop out the white part and seeds. By doing this, you can remove the spicy parts and savor the flavor of the pepper itself. Don’t forget to try the delicious yogurt sauce that accompanies the platter.
To enjoy this platter, create mini wraps using the pita bread and take small portions of the kebabs, hummus, and grilled vegetables. Add a squeeze of lemon juice over the whole combination. It’s a delightful and enjoyable way to experience the flavors together (and it’s really fun!)
Edibowl offers a wide variety of wraps on their menu, which are served alongside a side of French fries and ketchup. These wraps are not only delicious but also quite satisfying and filling.
Of course we had to try the ricebowls at Edibowl. We had the Korean bulgogi rice bowl. Originating from Korea, Bulgogi is a sweet and savory meat dish that has gained immense popularity among Filipinos due to its delightful flavor combination. Edibowl’s version of the Bulgogi rice bowl adds a touch of spice and sweetness.
