Margie’s Lunch: The Best Place for Lunch in Bacolod

Looking for a great lunch spot in Bacolod? Look no further than Margie’s Lunch! This beloved carinderia or turo-turo style restaurant is a favorite among locals, and for good reason. With a huge selection of delicious Filipino dishes and desserts, there’s something for everyone.

One of the things we love about Margie’s Lunch is the incredible variety of dishes available. Whether you’re in the mood for classic Filipino favorites like okoy and valenciana, or you want to try something new, Margie’s has got you covered. And if you’re not sure what to order, just ask around – the staff are always happy to help.

The counters look empty but when lunchtime hits, Margie’s Bacolod gets really crowded

Despite the crowds and the carinderia atmosphere, Margie’s Lunch is impressively clean and free of flies. And the service is excellent too – we were given a whole pitcher of ice-cold water without even asking for it.

Located at the corner of Burgos and Lopez Jaena streets, Margie’s Lunch is open from 7am to 6pm, Mondays to Saturdays. And while the restaurant is famous for its hopia, there’s so much more to explore – including a dessert chiller filled with all your favorite treats.

Don’t forget to check out the mini snack bar, which offers hot soups, more snacks, and favorites like dinuguan, pancit molo, and arroz caldo. And if you’re feeling adventurous, be sure to try Margie’s most famous product – Sebuyas Hopia, made with onion leaves. Not up to trying onion? Margie’s also has SISIG hopia.

Right beside Margie’s Lunch is Margie’s – their pastry and dessert shop. Perfect for buying gifts for take home!

So what are you waiting for? Head on over to Margie’s Lunch and see what all the fuss is about. You won’t be disappointed!
