Hey there folks, are you ready to embark on a Chinese food adventure? If you’re looking for some delicious Chinese dishes, then you should definitely check out Diamond Seafood restaurant in Bacolod City! This Chinese restaurant used to be known as Diamond Palace. It is one of the most popular Chinese restaurants in Bacolod city.
Diamond Palace used to be on BS Aquino street but they’ve moved locations to a new and more accessible location a few blocks away.

Diamond Seafood Restaurant has a really cool blue and gold motif that makes it stand out from the other Chinese restaurants in Bacolod City. The walls have LED lighting and are there are gold accents throughout the space, such as the tablecloth and the chairs. Diamond Seafood Restaurant also has function rooms that you can book for parties or events.
All your old favorites are here at the new location of Diamond Seafood Restaurant! A favorite that we always order is their roast meat platter.
A Hong Kong-style roast meat platter is a popular and tasty way to try a variety of Cantonese dishes. This particular platter at Diamond Seafood Restaurant includes soy chicken, marinated squid, Chinese BBQ pork, sliced century egg, and seaweed. However they were all out of seaweed so we asked for extra century egg instead!
The soy chicken is really tender. The marinated squid is flavorful and has a chewy texture. The BBQ pork is sticky, sweet and savory. The sliced century egg is an acquired taste for some people due to its strong flavor and unique texture. Despite this, it’s a popular ingredient in Hong Kong-style cuisine and adds an interesting twist to the platter. Overall, it’s a satisfying and flavorful spread that’s perfect for sharing with friends and family.
If you’re a rice lover, then you’ll definitely want to order Diamond Seafood Restaurant’s Fried Rice. The rice is perfectly cooked and fried with a mix of veggies, eggs, and meats. It’s really flavorful and makes for a great side dish to any of the main courses. Plus, it’s a really affordable option, so you won’t have to break the bank to enjoy it.
For soup we got our usual order of Spinach Soup! If you’re trying to eat healthier, this dish is perfect for you. It’s light and refreshing, and the fresh spinach gives it a really nice flavor. It’s not too heavy, so it won’t leave you feeling stuffed.
Another of our favorites is the salt and pepper squid. If you’re not a huge fan of seafood, this dish might just change your mind. The squid is perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and tender interior, and the seasoning is just right. It’s not too spicy, just flavorful enough to make you want more. Diamond Seafood Restaurant had a busy day and ran out of squid slices so we asked them to substitute with squid rings instead. It came out perfectly!
If you’re a fan of noodles, then you should definitely try the pancit canton. This dish is a classic stir-fried noodle dish that’s packed with a variety of veggies and meats. It’s really savory and filling, and it’s a great option if you’re looking for something substantial.
If you love beef, you’ll definitely want to try the beef and broccoli. The beef is cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the broccoli is cooked just right – not too soft and not too crunchy. Together, they make for a really satisfying dish. This dish is super popular among Filipinos and its sure to be a crowd pleaser!
We were given a dish of Ham Sui gok to try! Ham sui gok is a type of Chinese dim sum that is typically served as a deep-fried dumpling. It is made from glutinous rice flour and filled with a savory mixture of ground pork, and mushrooms. The texture of the exterior is crispy and golden, while the inside is soft and chewy. It is often served with a sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping. Ham sui gok is best described as a savory tasting buchi.
Overall, We really enjoyed our experience at Diamond Seafood Restaurant. The food was great, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was really cozy. We think you’ll love it too, so why not give it a try?
