Head to the counter and take a look at the sandwich menu. Café Bob’s Deli has an excellent selection of sandwiches – the largest sandwich menu in Bacolod City.
This amazing Deli also bakes and makes their own bread. They have sourdough, rye, bagels and a lot of other good stuff.
We tried out the Salami and Brie Croissant sandwich from Café Bob’s sandwich menu. This sandwich is made of a sliced, buttery croissant enclosing generous slices of Salami Milano, Dill pickles, Tomatoes, Lettuce and Brie cheese.
We liked the flavor combination of Brie and Salami. The cheese was not too salty and complemented the rich, savory taste of the Salami. A perfect light snack.
Want something distinctly Filipino? Filipinos love sweet and salty combinations and this next sandwich from Café Bob’s Deli is really special. It’s their special Grilled ensaymada sandwich with majestic ham.
It’s the perfect combination of ensaymada, ham and cheese kicked up to the max! The top of this awesome sandwich is glistening with delicate caramelized sugars from the grilling and grated parmesan is spread lovingly on top. Super good! This is one of the best sandwiches in Bacolod City!
Majestic ham is a famous Christmas time ham and it goes so well in a sandwich. Some variants of ensaymada have ham baked inside so having massive slices of ham is a real treat.
Here is Café Bob’s Deli’s ensaymada sandwich cut in half. Just look at the layers! Besides the salty parmesan layer, you also have a milder tasting cheese inside with the ham. Awesome! We can imagine this sandwich becoming a popular negrense snack on par with batchoy or chicken inasal.
We also tried their Turkey Ham Sandwich. It’s more milder tasting than the Salami and Brie sandwich and this came on a ciabatta bun. Also good for a quick snack.
Café Bob’s Deli has super big sandwiches, some of the biggest sandwiches in Bacolod City. We ordered their Deli Sub sandwich.
Café Bob’s Deli sub sandwich has Beef Pastrami, Salami milano, Emmental cheese and Appenzeller cheese served on their very own Bob’s Deli Baguette.
All those cheeses! Here is a cross section of Café Bob’s Deli sandwich!
And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The best sandwich in Bacolod is Café Bob’s Deli’s Reuben Sandwich!
A classic Reuben is a sandwich consisting of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Russian dressing between slices of rye bread that is grilled until the bread is crispy and the cheese melts.
Cafe Bob’s Deli’s Rueben is super good. It comes in two varieties. The normal Reuben and the Reuben upgrade (which adds more meat.) Get more meat! It is totally worth it because the sandwich is super filling!
Eating this massive monster will fill you right up!
Don’t forget, you’re not limited to what Café Bob’s deli has on the menu. You can also make your own sandwich at their DIY sandwich bar. You can choose your own sauce, cheeses, meats and sides! This is what makes Café Bob’s the best place for sandwiches in Bacolod!

i would generally concur. And some of their pizzas are good, too…with crisp crusts as I like. I generally always during pandemic times eat sagwa for safety reasons. A pleasant spot.
