Chi Cha Box is our latest awesome food find in Bacolod City! This hole-in the wall restaurant serves up Taiwanese style fried chicken popcorn, Taiwanese Chicken steak and Taiwanese Milk Tea!
Chi Cha Box is located at 725 BS Aquino Drive, Villamonte, Bacolod City, Philippines. Chi Cha Box is eye-catching as their building is made out of repurposed shipping containers! There’s also offices and a cafe on the top floor of this building.

The restaurant itself is a take-out only affair, with a window to place and get your orders. Service is fast in this place.
We got the Taiwanese chicken strips and a XXL Chicken chop. Taiwanese fried chicken is a popular street food in Taiwan and the chicken is known to be crispy and tasty. Chi Cha box has regular sized portions for 80 php and Large portions for 100 php. Of course, we went LARGE all the way!
Chi Cha Box has a lot of flavors available. You can opt to have Lemon Pepper, Wasabi, Chili Pepper, Salt and Pepper, Plum and original chicken. We opted to get the plum flavor (locally known as kiamoy) since we love the sweet-sourish taste of dried plum.
Soon our Taiwanese chicken chop was ready and Holy Crap – it is HUGE!! It’s as big as the cook’s face! Wow, totally unbelievable!
Look at how huge this chicken is – it’s even bigger than a cellphone! One of these babies will fill you right up.
Chi Cha Box has delicious milk teas too. We got a large matcha milk tea for just 95 php. A medium sized one will cost you just 80 php.
Eaten with rice, or just on its own, Chi Cha Box chicken is really good!
Chi Cha Box is also on Food Panda – you can order from the comfort and convenience of your own home! Check out the app for more details
