Do you remember Alice’s Recipes? This popular restaurant is named after the Pandan family’s matriarch, Alice Pandan. Her husband, Raymundo, established the restaurant in her honor.
We wrote about their restaurant ten years ago in 2014 when they were still located in front of Metrodome along Araneta avenue. Now, the restaurant is back and named Raymundo’s Diner and they’re still serving the famous food from Alice’s Recipes!
Raymundo’s diner is located in Talisay City, The District North point by Ayala Malls.

The diner is very pretty and elegant. There are nice hardwood wooden tables and pictures of the Pandan family decorate a wall.
There’s a whole section of the restaurant that is sort of like a museum – an area where everyday items from the past are displayed. You can find old turntables, typewriters and even old Nokia 3310s and a Family computer which was a big deal in the 80’s – which was 40 years ago! (ouch, my age really shows!)
Raymundo’s diner still has the same menu with classic favorites such as chorizo, pancit molo, back ribs and sisig but there are new and interesting menu items to keep things up to date and with the times.

Do drop by for great food and for interesting things such as Frozen Brazos by Jaye Jesena, MTG Talangka, Angelo’s Boquerones, coffee beans and chicharon bites! They also have coffee table books for sale!
