Lola’s LCC pork Barbecue: Experience awesome Philippine style barbecue in Bacolod City.

Lola’s LCC pork barbecue has been around for ages in Bacolod City. Previously located near LCC (La Consolacion College), they’ve finally moved to Narra Street Capitol Shopping Center in Bacolod City.

Lola’s Barbecue house… or Lola’s LCC pork barbecue? Whatever their name is, they’re located at Narra Street Capitol Shopping Center. (beside Galaxy Marketing). Lola’s LCC pork Barbecue can be reached at 09190045790. Open Monday – Saturday 8:00am-7:00pm
Sunday 10:00am – 7:00pm

Filipinos love barbecue. Our idea of barbecue is grilled meat stuck on bamboo skewers and grilled until perfection. Fish, pork, chicken… if you can stick it on a stick it can be barbecued! 😀

The excellent pork barbecue at Lola’s

There’s a modest amount of barbecue at Lola’s LCC pork barbecue. While the 5 items selection is not as extensive as other local barbecue places which serve everything from congealed blood to intestines, Lola’s LCC pork barbecue makes it up by having two other Filipino favorites, Palabok and Batchoy.

Menu: Palabok and Batchoy AND barbecue under one roof!

This is Bacolod City, the land of Chicken Inasal… and if you want inasal, try the Inasal at Lola’s LCC pork barbecue. The centrally located location (capitol shopping center) makes it convenient to buy good chicken barbecue without having to go all the way to Manokan country.

Pecho – or barbecued chicken breast.

Lola’s LCC pork barbecue is an open air restaurant, with HALF of the space directly out in the sun. A fig tree shades most of the space and the lot is like a natural wind tunnel so it is quite breezy. That said, there are a few flies but the management keeps the restaurant squeaky clean.

The dining spaces. We prefer dining outside. The tall buildings shade most of the sun and the fig tree blocks most of the sun and heat too!

There’s even a “ruins” in the outdoor dining area of the restaurant. It’s where the fig tree grows. It makes for an interesting conversation piece while dining. We’re glad they kept the tree! Very shady!

We ordered EVERYTHING on the menu.

First up – Our favorite appetizer – Chicken Isol or chicken ASS.

Bursting with fat with every bite, Chicken isol is a perfect appetizer!

We paired it with some of Lola’s LCC pork barbecue’s palabok. You get quite a big bowl! There’s plenty of chicharron and chicken bits. If they added an option to add extra NOODLES to the menu, it would definitely be awesome!

Our favourite, meatiest part of the chicken – the pecho!

Perfectly grilled, just the way we like it!

We paired this with the batchoy soup. The batchoy soup was great but we wished it could have been a little more hotter. We love really HOT soup because if it’s not super hot, it cools down half way through the meal and is not so enjoyable anymore.

We also want our soup to be SUPER HOT to kill off any bacteria.

Finally the most popular item on the menu – the pork barbecue! Sticky-sweet and savory, this is super delicious and meaty. Pair it with rice to have a good meal! You can see that it is a long strip of meat! not small tiny pieces like most barbecue places. Super deelish!
