Hardwood Cafe in Bacolod City

Antiques, ☕🍰, and food! I visited Hardwood Cafe – on the second floor of Lopues East’s annex building on Bacolod City. This is where lovers of Coffee☕, Snacks🍽️, and antiques 🪑 will surely have a great time!

The main floor features a huge mirror that, at first glance, makes the café feel even more spacious than it really is.

There’s so much to see with so many beautiful antiques arranged all around the café. Hardwood Cafe has an amazing collection of wooden carvings, items from World War II, and more. 🗿🛠️

Gorgeous antiques line the walls, adding charm and character to every corner!
Gorgeous wooden carvings, possibly part of a callado (intricate wooden latticework), are displayed above some World War II-era helmets
Charms, statues, and anik-anik (little trinkets) are everywhere, making the place endlessly fascinating! Every corner has something unique to catch your eye.
Old paper bills
Plenty of pots!
An eclectic mix of Asian pottery and art

The best seat in the house has to be the sofas beside a window overlooking Galo Street. It’s so relaxing! 🌳

The window overlooking Galo Street is a favorite spot for people working or those just looking for a peaceful place to relax and reflect. It’s a beautiful view!

The café is huge – spanning almost the entire second floor. It’s a popular spot for older people to hang out and unwind. The food here is simple but good enough. I ordered a coffee☕, a cookie 🍪, and pesto pasta 🍝.

I got plenty of jokes when I mentioned I was heading to Hardwood Cafe 😅. But the only “risqué” thing I found was a gorgeous stone wishing statue – where people can toss in coins to make a wish! 💫
