Wow! Hand tossed gourmet pizza
and freshly made pasta
by a FRENCH man in Bacolod! We found Talaita’s Pizza House just by chance – and it’s an amazing HIDDEN restaurant that serves European (
French,
German, and
Italian) style pizza and pasta!
Everything is lovingly handmade with the same meticulous care to detail by the French. In fact, we annoyed Fred – the french chef – by taking pictures first instead of eating! ![]()

The pizzas and pasta are definitely above the normal philippine pizzas. If you want familiar flavors, ask the chef to recommend you the
Philippine style pizza. But if you’re adventurous and want different flavors, you’re in for a treat!
We got their:
Salami Napoli Pizza – this had tomato sauce, mozzarella, Italian blue gorgonzola cheese and the
Salami Napoli. If you’re a fan of blue cheese – the taste is quite distinct and savory. The Salami Napoli is not as strong tasting as pepperoni but it adds to and enhances the flavor of the gorgonzola cheese. A”sophistiqué ” pizza in terms of taste!
French pizza – of course we had to try french style pizza to taste the difference! – This had Two cheese Mozarella fontale and chopped onions.
It’s a simple pizza and it has a dainty taste – very light and it is a nice change to the “big and loud” flavors of italian pizza that we are used to.
Pasta: For pasta we had the Gorgonzola and
pistachio cream pasta. This was quite enjoyable! The pasta is really made using a pasta machine and it has a nice, fresh taste with a springy texture. Plus, it was our first time to try the pistachio, blue cheese combination. Very Tasty!
As for hot sauce, they have Jufran, but we recommend trying their chili-infused
olive oil. It’s nice and spicy without being overwhelmingly hot—perfect for dipping the sourdough mini baguettes they serve.
Speaking of the baguettes, they’re very nice—grab some to eat with the
pasta and use the chili oil to spice things up! ![]()
