Ramenya Miyuki: Japanese Ramen Stand in Bacolod City/

Ramenya Miyuki is a stall located at the 9th way food hub on Lacson Street. This stall went viral in Bacolod City because a kind hearted cosplayer helped them out!

The cosplayer Edz-Sama is a kind hearted cosplayer who saw Mr. Miyuki Nakazawa handing out flyers for his stall. 🥲However, people were ignoring him.
She felt so sad for him and even mentioned in one of her comments that Mr. Nakazawa reminded her of her hardworking father. 🥲 No one was getting any of his flyers so she made a post to help out!

When we saw her post, we wanted to help too but Lacson was packed with people (and we were taking around our youtuber friend Geoff, from Pure Detour so we had to wait until today – the last day of Masskara. So we went and got lunch at Ramenya Miyuki! 🍜🍜🍜 🇯🇵

Like clockwork, Mr. Nakazawa (72 years old!) was there and he single-handedly opened the shop, cooked everything BY HIMSELF. He comes from Kyoto Japan 🗾 and he has decided to live here in the Philippines! 🇵🇭🐃

We ordered the Ramen! Mr. Nakazawa recommended the 🍜 Pork Tonkotsu Ramen (220 php) and we also got the Tonkatsu Curry Rice (190 php) 🍛 along with the Yakisoba. (150 php)

Review Time: Overall the food is very good for the price! This is an AWESOME FIND. It’s not as sophisticated or as polished as other restaurants but this is pretty good for a food stall!

🍜🐷🍥Pork Tonkotsu Ramen – The noodles are dried noodles but the soup is absolutely fantastic! Mr. Nakazawa makes it himself and it is a white, tasty and creamy pork bone broth. IT comes with seaweed, a 🍥 naruto fishcake, egg🥚, beansprouts, chinese cabbage and slices of pork. VERY GOOD AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Price and flavor wise – this can compete with the other established ramen places in Bacolod. It might not be as polished but, come on its just 220 pesos for quite good ramen!

🐷Tonkatsu Curry rice – it is a breaded, deep fried pork cutlet with a japanese curry sauce, a side of shiitake and pickled ginger. The curry sauce had bits of pork in it. So it was unusual for us but maybe that’s how they make it in Kyoto. Despite that, the dish is quite good and excellent value! Hey, its two dishes in one!

🍝Yakisoba – Fried Japanese Yakisoba noodles with a Yakisoba sauce, pickled ginger, seaweed toppings and Japanese Mayonnaise. Hey, the only Yakisoba we’ve tried is the instant one that comes in a plastic cup . THIS IS SO GOOD. It is terrific value for the money, (150 php) and the serving size is HUGE. You will be full! Super tasty.

So, edz-sama – thanks to your post, we’ve been able to help out this restaurant too by blogging for free! We hope we made you proud! Special thanks to Cecilia lopez who also messaged us to tell us about this place!

it’s too bad it’s an open air place? My wife is not keen on eating without aircon–but I’ll try to drop in sometime cuz that’s how I roll
