Calle Catorce: Elegant Restaurant, Bar, and Function Rooms in a Bacolod City heritage mansion!

The newest restaurant, bar, and event space in Bacolod City is the fantastic Calle Catorce. Located at the intersection of 14th and Lacson Streets, Calle Catorce is situated within a post-World War II heritage mansion. This house was originally built in the 1940’s by Vicente Coleongco, and it has been remarkably well-preserved. The stairs, wood, and tile floors are still the originals and have been lovingly repaired and restored.

Calle Catorce aims to provide a deluxe and upscale dining experience right in the heart of the Lacson tourism strip. They offer a multitude of delightful cultural and gastronomical experiences, as the mansion houses an impressive collection of local art, essential Negrense food and dishes, and meeting rooms within the stunning mansion rooms.

The beautiful Art Nouveau logo of Calle Catorce features stylized vines and the number 14.


Many of the house’s original fixtures remain intact. The window grills were removed and repurposed to create the property’s fence. In order to accommodate parking, a wall was dismantled, and the side of Calle Catorce was transformed into parking spaces.

There’s a spacious garden area at Calle Catorce where you can sit at night or in the late afternoons and unwind. Undoubtedly, this spot will be exceedingly popular during the MassKara Celebrations.

Calle Catorce boasts multiple dining areas and function rooms that can comfortably and stylishly accommodate up to 200 guests. Each floor showcases the house’s original tiles from the 1940s.

This is the main dining room with the awesome original tiles from post WWII.

The upstairs and downstairs halls of Calle Catorce are filled with local art and stunning paintings by artists from the Art Association of Bacolod-Negros.

Function rooms 2 and 3 are situated on the second floor, alongside a premium VIP lounge. Stairs also lead to the attic room, providing a private getaway for two.

Calle Catorce’s Function Room 2 faces Lacson Street and is adorned with scenes of fighting cocks and roosters. This room features a row of arched windows that allow plenty of natural light to filter in.

Function room 3 is the Silay room – paintings of Silay City decorate the room. This room is slightly wider than function room 2

Calle Catorce serves excellent coffee made with both local and imported beans sourced from Coffee Culture, a renowned coffee shop in Bacolod known for its exceptional brews. Additionally, Calle Catorce offers a variety of cakes and pastries that are sure to add a delightful touch to any meeting.

The house specialty is the ube cake with plenty of delicious ube frosting and a crunchy topping.

The menu of Calle Catorce aims to offer old time Negrense and Filipino Favorites at the same time offering something new. On their menu are also old time Filipino favorites such as lechon kawali and other Filipino dishes that are made to order!
