The restaurant is housed in a beautiful old American bungalow style house from the 70s, which is naturally cool and breezy. The large and beautiful interiors and garden will make you feel like you are visiting your rich, old, city-dwelling haciendera lola’s house.

There’s a fully air-conditioned dining room at Pat Pat’s Kansi House, great for a comfortable dining experience

We decided to dine outside in the garden, under the mango tree, where it was much cooler and the large grounds let a cooling breeze pass through.

Here are some of the things you can try at Pat Pat’s Kansi House:

  • Kansi Lawas: This is the original kansi dish that is made with beef shanks that are slowly cooked in a flavorful broth.
  • Sisig: This is a popular Filipino dish that is made with finely chopped pig’s face and is served with a spicy vinegar sauce.
  • Grilled Squid: This is a simple dish that is made with grilled squid that is seasoned with a flavorful blend of spices.

Pat-Pat’s Kansi House is a great place to visit. We only tried a few dishes but don’t worry there are many other delicious options on the menu as well. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff is always happy to help you. Try and visit Pat-Pat’s Kansi House for something new to experience in Bacolod city.
