We were out and about looking for a new place to have lunch when we saw the new Licuala Grandis Food park.
Licuala Grandis Food Park is a big warehouse that can accommodate many diners, restaurants and food booths. It’s now open along C.L. Montelibano street and for now the only restaurant there is Joe’s Grill.
Joe’s Grill serves delicious Filipino comfort food. Put your diet on hold because the dishes here are not only extremely tasty – they’re also easy on the pocket and have decent portion sizes.
Joe’s Grill has a very substantial Sizzling pork sisig. See tablespoon for scale to see how much you’re getting!

Joe’s Grill also has Spareribs to satisfy your inner carnivore. 🙂

Joe’s Grill has several fish dishes too! We liked the sizzling boneless bangus – it was marinated perfectly and topped with plenty of fried garlic. The usually bland taste of bangus became infused with the delicious marinade and garlic flavor. There was also some fried potatoes on the side – a nice touch.

The Sizzling squid at Joe’s Grill is cut into these whimsical flower like shapes that look like squid with tentacles. Plenty of fried garlic and fried potatoes too.

The Sizzling Manumbok is also very well seasoned and is an absolute delight to eat. We’re huge fans of fish!

Filet Mignon – beef tenderloin and bacon. While not as tender as I would have wanted it was still pretty good. The Bacon enhances the taste and the portion size is big enough for sharing.

A tiny observation that we had with the food here at Joe’s Grill is that it’s extremely oily. Our suggestion to you guys when you dine here is to request that use less oil when cooking. Otherwise, the food is quite good – nothing fancy but it’s solid, good, No frills Filipino comfort food.
Joe’s grill is located in Licuala Grandis Food Park – it’s the first restaurant here and most of the spots are still under construction. We’re excited to see and try the restaurants that will be popping up soon in this area especially Coco Jen’s – the famous chinese lumpia that we previously wrote about!
