Garden Cafe

Tiffany’s Confections

Tucked away along 8th street, beside the Bacolod Lagoon park is a tiny garden cafe called Tiffany’s confections. The restaurant is tiny, at its best seating around 15 people. However, this does not deter the masses of people who descend in the afternoons to have coffee and merienda at this relaxing little cafe.

We were served by their waiter who was quick to bring us extra chairs and refill our glasses with water. Excellent service. The place was a bit hot because of the afternoon weather and we had to sit by their fan to keep cool.

So inviting!

But even the heat did not deter us from sampling their desserts! Tiffany has lots of excellent desserts and we decided to sample their most popular dessert, the famous Mango Cheesecake.

Mango Cheesecake! This was rich and cheesy with a nutty crust. So delicious!

We also sampled their Kalabasa rolls. This tasted just like carrot cake and it’s great for kids especially if you’re trying to get them to eat more veggies.  This dessert is not to sweet and it is perfect for those on a budget.

Kalabasa (squash) rolls. The cream cheese goes so well with the squash leaving a taste reminiscent of carrot cake.

If you’re looking for pasta or sandwiches, well Tiffany’s has them too. We ordered the spicy chicken salad sandwich. It is really delicious, the taste of the chicken mixed with spicy mayo is simply dynamic.  The bread is perfectly baked.  This is a sandwich that is hearty enough for the biggest appetite.
