American Kitchen: Breakfast All day

Have you ever experienced craving for pancakes in the middle of the day? Do you love hash browns and sausages?  I’ve got good news for you.  One of the newest restaurants in Bacolod’s Art district specializes in serving your breakfast favorites any time of the day.

American Kitchen is located in Bacolod’s art district.  They serve breakfast at all times of the day so you can satisfy your cravings.

American Kitchen

The interior of American Kitchen resembles a ballpark and the waiters are dressed in baseball uniforms.  Very interesting!

I have to admit I’m a big fan of bacon and pancakes and American Kitchen’s big breakfast really hits the spot.  Bacon Bacon Bacon. American Kitchen serves huge servings and really thick pancakes so it perfectly hits the spot and it can fill up even the hungriest person!

Bacon, Pancakes and Sunny side up eggs. My smile got a little wider.

We also ordered their Onion Blossom, an onion chopped in an interesting way so as to resemble a flower then breaded and fried .  Very good especially if you love onions.

Onion Blossom! Really good! It’s big enough to share and it makes a delicious snack.

We also got their cheese sandwich which came on some thick bread.  In this picture the bread is a little dirty from something blue…  Hmm…  Anyway we weren’t that fussy.  We just cut off the offending blue parts.

I wonder what that blue stuff is.. It better not be paint or ink!!!

American Kitchen has lots of other things in their menu.  Do drop by and give them a visit!

Hi Martin. We will check out the American Kitchen soon. An American friend in Talisay tried them when they first opened and he was impressed. He mentioned the Texas Toast and country fried potatoes. He also said the servings were America size. He is from Texas where everything is bigger, lol.

    Have a good day!

Actually I was there on their opening day and I was their very first customer as I had a personal invitation from the owner. I was sitting on the pics and articles for a long time before releasing it because I release my articles monthly to keep readers interested in coming back to the site.

Just checked the site! I know the writer, Trixie torralba. We talked about food blogging over lunch with Jp Anglo before I did his interview. Wow so she took my advice to start food blogging again. I’m glad she did such a stellar article with her return post!

Thanks for the link, the owner will be very pleased to read another review of her site. I’ll forward it to her.

This place is amazing. I am an American who lives in Iloilo and I made a trip to Baoclod just to eat here multiple times.

Since I’ve been here, breakfast has been pretty sketchy in the Philippines, it always real hit or miss and to be honest, I don’t like eating rice for breakfast. But this place does American breakfast justice.

Their Meatloaf sandwich is amazing, as well as the peanut butter and banana sandwich. Both are served on Texas Toast bread, I happen to be from Texas and it is authentic.

This restaurant would do really well in the states too.
