Cuayx restaurant

Cuayx restaurant is located along Lacson street a little across from L’fisher hotel and a bit beside Balay Quince.  (It was formerly known as Louise restaurant)  It is a converted house-restaurant which means that the owner converted one of the big houses along Lacson street into a restaurant.

Cuayx. You can see that the upper floor is the residential area while the bottom floor has been converted into a dining area.

Once inside, you can’t help but enjoy the beautiful furniture and art arrangement.  Every area has some eye-catching detail!

Care to relax? This place is perfect to sit and have a coffee with a date!

Vases.

We ordered the vegetable salad which was a bit pricy and a bit saturated with this sweetish mayonnaise (Miracle whip??) that really didn’t go well with the veggies.    There were generous chunks of vegetables and potatoes which made up a bit for the horrible mayo dressing.

Vegetable salad

Too saturated in sweet mayonnaise to be healthy.

We ordered Chopsuey.  No complaints here.  Just your regular stir-fried veggies.

Cuayx signature dish: Fried chicken.  It’s really golden brown and cripsy.

Chicken!!

We had an excellent Seafood misono to wrap up the meal.  We really enjoyed the seafood misono as it was expertly prepared and seasoned.

We had a great time at Cuayx but we found the prices to be a bit too heavy on the wallet.  IT is a NICE place to dine at though and perfect for bringing your girlfriend or your family..
