Cookies ‘N Crumbs Cafe: More than just cookies

Two new members of the Bacolod Food Hunters invited us to try their favourite lunch time resto: Cookies and Crumbs.

Cookies ‘n Crumbs is located near the New Government Center along the Circumferential Road.

Luds and Zaina eagerly showed us around the place.

“I always bring my friends from Manila here.” Luds proudly claimed.  “They love this place!”

“That’s great, but I don’t want to eat sweets for lunch.” complained Martin.

Luds quickly reassured Martin that the place had an excellent menu and we then proceeded to a chalkboard on which was listed numerous dishes ranging from Fish fillet, Cordon bleu, to the house specialty Baby Back ribs.  Each dish came with two side dishes.  We placed our orders and then proceded to wait.

The cookies look absolutely scrumptious!

In no time at all, our food was ready!

Zaina had the spicy shrimps with a coleslaw salad and mashed potatoes.

Martin had Potato salad and the Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Luds had the Baby back Ribs.

We really enjoyed the lunch we had at Cookies ‘N Crumbs.  The food and portions are great!   The service was ok but when it came to paying the bill the staff totally ignored us!  We had to get up and leave our table in order to go to the counter and pay.

We had an enjoyable time at Cookies ‘N Crumbs.  Thanks Luds and Zaina!

the place has a lot of potential because the food is really good but my gosh the service is terrible. they should really train their staff to be more courteous and attentive!

i think it is supposedly “self-srevice” that’s why they made you go to the counter to pay. sometimes, they also won’t bring the dishes you order to your table. you have to get up and get it from the counter.

their 3 in 1 coffee is also good and cheap priced at 25 pesos only. I hope C & C doesn’t get too crowded…i love the atmosphere of that place. And i also like the customers…nakapambahay pa ang iban..totally laid back ang ambience. It being self service is just ok for me. 😉

Check out their newest branch at Sta. Clara Highway, Mandalagan. Bigger and better with awesome ambience and a great place to hang out with family and friends. Food still tastes great and even wider menu selection. I’ve been there twice already and both visits were very pleasurable. It’s the newest must-dine place in Bacolod!
