The Baking Guru: Utterly cute baking supplies!

We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit The Baking Guru.   It’s a specialty shop in Bacolod selling baking and candy making supplies.

The Baking Guru

Being in the Baking guru totally inspires one to bake.  There are dozens of raw ingredients that simply scream out to your inner cook: “BUY ME!!”

Sprinkles, Chocolate chips and marshmallows

Slabs of baking chocolate, bags of pistachios and nuts, bags of cocoa and powdered chocolates and cookie cutters, the place is a total gem of a find!

It's like being in a toyshop! You just wanna buy stuff to bake with!

Too Lazy to make your own icing?  The Baking Guru carries tubs of fondant and buttercream icing.

BUTTERCREAMM!!

The Baking Guru also has a lot of exquisite ready made syrup for ice cream, fondue parties or candy decorating!

Mmm! Caramel syrup!

The counter was filled with more baking supplies.

Novelty stuff can be found here

This is so damn fucking cute! These cupcake covers are perfect for themed parties!

Jungle Animals

Fancy a pirate themed party?  This pack comes complete with little pirate flags!  Too adorable!!

Arrr matey!

Remember when you were a kid and you had to have the sugar flowers that came with your birthday cake?

Icing flowers!

Plants vs zombies!!

Sugar rush!

Drop by the baking guru! It’s totally fun!

I think the shop isn’t there anymore. A diner took its place. Which is kind of unfortunate, since stores dedicated to baking goods and supplies are hard to come by in Bacolod.
