Fresh Start Organic is one of the few stores in Bacolod that offer healthy and delicious meals made with fresh organic vegetables. They also carry some herbs and other organically grown produce. We decided to swing by for a visit.
We were pleasantly surprised to discover that they sold piaya. We gave it a try and we instantly liked it! It’s quite different from the run-of-the-mill piaya. The filling is much thicker with a certain texture and the dough is not as flaky. Very very good especially when hot.

We took a look at the menu and then we placed our orders. Meat eaters beware! You won’t find a lot of meat dishes here.

Fresh Start Organic also carries Pinkerton Ice cream which is known for their awesome flavors and varieties of Ice cream. Our absolute favorite Pinkerton flavor is their Maple Syrup and Bacon. That’s right. Maple syrup flavored Ice cream with Crunchy Bacon bits.

This is my second comment and seems my first comment got lost, he he. I hope it doesn’t appear later. Anyway, we have walked past Fresh Start Organic a number of times but we had not idea it is also a restaurant. We thought it was only an organic shop, selling other things..All the dishes look good and I am one who can enjoy a meatless meal from time to time and should do it more often! Thank you for the information.
